At Rose Run Presbyterian Church, music is a vital element of our congregational worship service.  Not only is it part of each Sunday Worship Service, but we also host special music concerts throughout the year, including our Messiah Sing Along each December.

Our adult choir meets every Wednesday night at 7 pm for practice.  They sing at most worship services September through May.  Special music ensembles are part of worship throughout the summer.  Everyone is welcome to participate in the choir, no auditions are needed.  We view our choir as a small group within our church which means it is a wonderful way to plug into RRPC and be part of this music ministry.

Our Handbell Choir is part of worship services throughout the year.  Practices are scheduled just before worship on the Sundays when they play.  If you’d like more information, please contact Stephanie Dinsmore.  This year we will host our first Handbell Festival, with five handbell choirs participating.

In addition to our worship music, we also host free concerts throughout the year, featuring talented musicians of all types.  In the past we’ve hosted solo concerts for musicians of Chamber Music Connection (CMC) as well as our own Hector Garcia.  We have also hosted outside groups within our sanctuary including New Albany Winds, Heisey Clarinet Choir and CMC recitals.
